About the Role
Vere Dental is seeking a skilled and motivated Dental Hygienist to join our clinical team on a part-time basis. You will be working in a modern surgery, delivering high-quality preventive care and periodontal treatment to a discerning private patient base. You will be an integral part of our clinical team, supported by experienced dentists and a dedicated nursing team, and will have plenty of scope to develop your patient list and clinical skills.
Responsibilities
- Deliver routine and periodontal treatment to private patients
- Conduct thorough periodontal assessments and develop individualised treatment plans in association with our periodontist
- Provide oral hygiene instruction and dietary and lifestyle advice. Preventive care is at the heart of our dental practice.
- Carry out direct access appointments
- Work collaboratively with the clinical team on shared patient care
- Maintain accurate records in line with GDC and practice guidelines
- Contribute to the practice's preventive dentistry ethos and patient education
Requirements
- Diploma in Dental Hygiene
- Current, unrestricted GDC registration
- Experience in a private practice setting (preferred)
- Extended duties qualification welcomed
- Strong interpersonal skills and a gentle, patient-focused approach
